Idiots that own pitbulls

You said a dog is a dog. Apparently you don't believe your own words. My question is why do you like pit bulls so much compared to other breeds? I'm guessing you are one of these people that thinks owning a big dog makes them a tough guy.

I hope you can live with yourself if one of your dogs kills someone. It might even be one of your own kids.

Anyway, I'm just outraged as this incident happened nearby. Especially since our area has had plenty of problems with these dogs over the past decade.

Hey assmunch.... I'm positive my ability to project virility has 100% nothing to do with my pets....as I am also positive ANYONE who has met me feels the same way.

We rescued our animals from a kill shelter, when they were 6 weeks old, they aren't purebred, I didn't pay for them, they don't pose for pictures in front of my 28" rims on my H2.......and the fact that they were undernourished and undersized as babies didn't deter my wife and I from giving them a home.

Get off your soapbox, or petition your state legislature to ban all "bully" breeds....either way I don't care.

Then get out of that area, because the people around you are obvoiusly no good.

And I don't think Pitbull needs a pitbull to make him feel like a "tough guy."

Oh this is bright. Let's make humans move out of the city so that 0.25% of the population can have killer dogs. Shouldn't it be the other way around? People that want wild animals around should move out in the country, not the city.

That's the problem I have. These people know in their own mind that their dog is potentially dangerous and they enjoy having a deadly animal. They don't respect other people's safety. The problem is that NOBODY can claim that they have total control over their dog. The dog is going to do what it's instincts dictate. They won't hesitate to turn even on their own masters. My sis owns an American Eskimo which isn't very big and is usually a whiney cry baby, but if you catch him in a certain mood he'll bite people, even if he is familiar with the person.

Kill him.....he's obviously tainted.

Hey, why not ban alcohol because some people get drunk and get behind the wheel? Hey, why not ban cars because people get into accidents and die? Here, I have the best idea - let's ban ALL dogs because ANY dog, if not treated right, can become violent. After all, they're ANIMALS, not humans, and they're just going by instinct. That would solve the problem completely, don't you agree?

Come on, let's debate guns and their legality next.

Nobody who is defending these dogs has yet to explain their reason for thinking these animals are good pets.

The most affectionate animals I have ever been around. They sleep in my daughters bed every night......follow her around the house, waiting for her to lay down so they can cuddle up next to her, and fall asleep. Riley (my daughter) is quite the tough little girl, she has been inadvertently rough with them to the point where she has been sent to her room........you know what happens next....?? The dogs wait outside her room, just to see when they can play again. I honestly have never been around two animals who show such love, loyalty and affection towards anyone.........not our Ridgeback and not our new Maltese. Am I an advocate for the breed...??? Hardly....Am I an advocate for my pets...?? You bet your ass.

I would also like to reiterate, that my username has nothing to do with my choice in pets, it has been a nickname for me since highschool. Being just shy of 6' and a lean 260+ pounds will cause that kind of inference.
