i'll just continue on w/my road trip story
anyway, after we successfully made it to our destination (OSU) that is oklahoma state university for those who aren't familiar, my friend met w/her advisor as she is going to school there and i just walked all over campus, found this really nifty park in the middle of campus that had tons of ducks
anyway, i was sitting by the mini lake they had on a rock on the edge and there was a turtle on the rock and i pushed him in w/my foot, not hard, just kind of a nudge, but he plopped in the water.....he didn't come up for a long time so i started to feel really bad and get really nervous and was ready to jump in and save him when i saw him rise to the top in the middle of the lake
it was a good moment and i won't ever push a turtle in the lake again, i don't know what i was thinking

Sunday night at work, there was a mouse running around behind the bar. It wasn't very fast, and I managed to catch it by the tail.
I carried it outside, and set it down in the planter in front of our business. It immediately tried to run back inside, so I re-captured it and carried it around to the back of the building and deposited him in another planter.
Later, I found out that it had managed to find its way back to the front of the building, and was trying to get in the front door again when a female customer accidentally stepped on it and blew its guts out all over the sidewalk. Poor thing.

hahah I can just see tripleblonde jumping into a pond to save a turtle (that swims better than her) from drowning.
