I make fail progress...

I've been blessed and cursed with a 6'2" body... Its good in a way, but sucks in others, like building noticeable muscle mass fast.... or having those huge obliques, which i probably will never have...
Does this look like I gained 28lbs?
I'm 6'2"
The difference between these 2 pics is one year.
Started taking my diet seriously since January 2010.

Is this bad progress? I'm just starting to understand how my body functions. My legs got way bigger and my shoulders broader, arms a bit bigger and that's all id say.. Strength increase.

PS: nice tan?

PPS: I've been lifting for 2 years and from year 0 to year 1 i went from 6'2" 145 to 170. Year 1 to now (year 2) went from 170 to 197-200lbs.

Also, am I looking proportional? as in Broad shoulders etc.. or am i looking like a tall skinny dude.?

any progress is good progress
honestly, you still have a bit of that tall skinny bball player look
(but that's not a bad thing those bros always do good with the ladies)
but at the rate you are gaining, 225ish i think you'll level out
and have the look you wanna have

oh..right, OP...uhm, dont get too hung up on a type or some sort of schedule
are you happy with your progress? do you feel like youve done good for your body type which is pretty effin difficult to build "how" muscle on as you seem to well know?

If you were a leaner 200, it would look worlds different. I remember when I was a very lean 200 lbs. at 6'2". Man the chicks dug that shit. Visible abs all the time, shoulders and traps popping and veins everywhere. Keep at it bro. You gained over 50 lbs! That's pretty fuckin good for 2 years. But yeah, you still look skinny. Keep eating big and lifting big. Progression with the weights. Keep a logbook, and write everything down.
