I don't have any official word, but if I had to bet one way, I'd say yes. Nothing major, less than 5% of the total workforce.

I try to discourage it as much as possible, i want my employees to tell me if something I say makes no sense or if an idea I come up with is garbage.

I expect push back sometimes, and i encourage people to think independently. I do most everything with the input of those who are doing tha actual hands on work. No operational decisions are made from my vantage point, without their input.

Smurfy, read "nice girls don't get the corner office." Don't worry so much about employees being contemptuous. That is a very female trait.

No one is being contemptuous. Its just my way of adjusting to this transition Im going through (this is just one small piece of whats going on in my life, so Im sure my being self conscious is just an extension of that stress)

thats awesome your office is so nice, environment and context are so important in determining how we feel.. alot easier to be patient with peeps when u got security and an environment that promotes that feeling... but yeah, its a good sign that u feel that way and not that u deserve that luxury... I always observe your comments on work related shit and u really have management skillz, u have a great knack for being pragmatic in situations that would overwhelm alot due to chaotic circumstances, I'm glad that you are glad.
