check out the bug.. they're just now discovering that damn thing.. yet i remember seeing it when i was training in camp pendleton in '96 or so..
i specifically remember cuz i had got up to go to the head in the middle of the night.. and saw this big fuckin cricket/ant thing walking.... and i went and poked at it for about 5 minutes trying to figure out what the fuck it was... and i couldn't..
then that night.. we were in a gp tent on cots.. and i had some dream about snakes and insects.. and.. being the sleep-walker that i am (did i ever tell y'all about moving a 27" tv in my sleep).. i tried jumping out of my rack.. but i was in a sleeping bag.. so i just fell over.. knocking the guys in the two cots beside me over and onto the floor...
anyways... i'd always look back and wonder about what the fuck it was... i've even told people about it.. about this huge fucking bug thing that i couldn't describe..
anyway.. i'm going to write to the scientists that "discovered" it and tell them that since i discovered it first.. that i should name it.. and that i want to name it the "manugga cricket".. or maybe "decem's hairy nugga cricket".. or maybe "cricketugga".. or "crugga".. something like that.. i'm still undecided...
