I know that whenever I have gotten into fight (in the far PAST) it could have been avoided only if I have kept my mouth shut and not make it worse in any other way so it would come to that.

But, on the other hand, there is crazy people out there that are gonna attack you regardless. We dont know good either HR or her boyfriend, so we cant really judge either or.
