How do i bring up lagging body parts while cycling?

Yeah bro same problem here. I'm in the off cycle now, but I didn't put on much size on my chest this last time around. I was looking to mix things up a little, because I think I was overtraining...
 
Sore?

Should you be sore for a day or two after training? For instance, after a really good chest day, the next 2 days after that I am a little sore. This never happened to me when I trained each body part twice a week. I was never sore.
Is this ok? By "ok" I mean, is the soreness an indication that I am making progress with that muscle, or does it mean that it is not being trained enough?

The only reason I wonder this is because of the distinct difference between once a week and twice a week frequency.

if you hit a muscle twice a week use different movements and rep schemes... this will prevent nervous system overtraining. For example with chest you could do one day of heavy bench, and a few days later use bumbells and higher rep pre-exaustion techniques.

also for every extra set you add to a lagging muscle group, drop one from a strong muscle group to keep overall volume the same and help with overall symetry.

I have gained a little over 1/2" on my arms in the last 2 weeks just from training arms twice a week.

I'm about to start doing chest the same way and go back to once a week on my arms. Arms are growing faster than the rest of my body right now.

I say work a lagging bodypart twice a week only if your on the juice, otherwise overtraining will occur. Also as someone mentioned above, keep the routine's different. Do not do the same workout both days during the week.
 
I would suggest looking at your routine and decide if you are really doing what it takes to develop your physique. Also, consistency is the most important factor. I was frustrated for several years about my gains but I wasn't lifitng on a regular basis. About a year ago I decided to really get serious and lift each bodypart twice a week (I use Arnold's routine as a guide). My results? Well, in just a year alone I have gained 35 lbs and put 2.5 inches on my arms! Not only that, but my bench went up about 150 lbs!

Yo 9th, how much juice were you pumpin? Arnold's routine seems to be built for immediately over training anyone who doesn't have a small pharmacy up and running in their body at all times.
 
i dont know if i ever do site injections they must hurt like shit,, anyway for waht ever is worth ,, i cid a cycle a while back and i was working out like 5 days a week ,,and i notice i was not growing much just getting harder and had more endurence,, then mid cycle i change the rutine to hight intensite training and i grew like a tree,, just working out 3 times a week for about 40 min each,, call me lazy but it work for me ,, try it a few weeks,, u cant go out an do colemans work out and chances are u wont grow remember those fukers take alot of drugs ,,HIT,, worked for me .
