Putting your pet to sleep. :bawling:

My little neighbor is facing that with his dog that is going through the end stages of congestive heart failure.

He has been on the standard med treatment for 7 months now and only gets worse. He just collaspe on the floor randomly now. Struggle to breath, if he gets excited (doorbell, treat jar, etc..) he will just faint.

oh boy that is going to be a tough ride to the vet. he wants to bury him in his backyard where they used to play, but I don't think the vet lets you take the body back home.

Yeah they do, you can bury the pet..... This is sad to me as I lost my best friend this year as my future ex took her and had her put to sleep because she couldn't handle her. I am tearing up a bit so I just leave it alone.

yeah, I remember you talking about that. How she didn't tell you what she did until after it was over.

Awwwww...I'm so sorry.

that is tough.

I've been through it many times. Losing a four-legged family member is just as tough as any other death in the family. You can certainly bury the little guy in the back yard. :(

went through that this year bro, fucking worse thing i've gone through in my life to date. The dr actually came to my house to do it, i didn't stay inside though, i went out and dug the grave while they did it.

i def feel the pain and can tell you it gets better, but took me some time.

I'm sorry...
I always think how our pets keep the kid in us still alive...
I love my parents Chinese Char Pei JabberWocky, bought it for them 2 years ago...
Looking forward to seeing her this Christmas...
Man... my condolences.

When they deliver the shot, how long does it take to "happen"?

is it painful for the animal? do they panic or die scared like "what is happening to me?"
