Hcg on the news

So I'm watching the news last nite and they had a storry about the. "HCG" diet. Apparently people r using hcg in conjunction with a 500 cal a day diet to lose weight. Has anybody ever heard of this as a stand alone diet. Also wouldn't muscle also be lost on such a restricted diet or does the added test production counteract any muscle loss? I think this is a pretty shitty idea, what do u guys think?

Also if I am wrong and u can lose fat while maintaining muscle this would probobly be a cheaper alternative then the anavar only cycle for those who are only concerned with cutting not the extra strength gained from var. Wich by the way I still love and is counting the days until my next cycle.......
 
Do you really think someone who does a fad diet like hcg diet, south beach diet, Atkins diet, whathefuckever is concerned about muscle loss? These are fat heifers that need to drop 100 lbs no matter what it takes. It's not like Jay Cutler is doing this shit.

it's not the hcg, it's the virtual starvation that makes them lose the weight. I'd fuckin die if all I had was 500 cals a day. I'd probably take out a small village with me too. I can be a real ass when I'm hungry.
 
yeah this is old shit. Is for sick people who are obese. We, Americans, consume astronomical amounts of unnecessary food each day. We are addicted to food. You can cut fat on any steroid as long as you know how to eat. Just a couple hundred miles away, in Haiti, people eat 1 mud pie a day to survive. We eat 3-4 pancakes as part of an average breakfast, on a day of 3 gigantic disgustingly massive foods. I don't, but the vast majority of people do. The small gut hanging over the belt these days, is normal. Bullshit. Is not normal. If you are 6' tall, don't regularly workout, and you weigh 200 pounds, you ARE overweight.

Spot on. We are eating ourselves to death. Then we look for a quick fix.
