i understand what you're saying. . .it's obviously more "personal" in person. . .but either way. . .it's people. . .fucking. . .and the reason(s) that you're watching (in person or on screen) is probably pretty much the same. . .right??

Okay, I actually have a really twisted evolutionary theory about porn/voyerism, why it's culturally (or from a survival point of view) to be a bit of a voyeur.

Most ancient cultures usually lived in group housing situations (particularly around the time of the last ice age). Simple reason, unless you're in an area where it's REALLY warm year round, one LARGE building filled with bodies is a LOT easier to keep warm than individual homes.

Well, you know how women who live together get on the same cycle?

Think about it ... if you see/hear your next door neighbors getting into it, and it turns you on and you get turned on, and you got women all cycling at the same time, that means the babies are all born around the same time. There's other nursing mothers to share the care of the children. Plus the kids are all around the same age, so they play together, and are educated together.

Even when the tribes did have invidual homes (you get that in the warm climates, the equatorial regions), they still usually had some regular rites that involved sexuality.
