On the lab work it simply says Growth Hormone, Serum and the result is 0.1. The range is from 0.0 to 6.0. Can anyone interpret this for me? I would say I have hardly any gh and I'm 29. My total test was 667 ng/dl and my Free Testosterone(Direct) is 14.3 pg/ml with a normal range of 9.3-26.5. That seems low too. Thanks guys

what are your stats? age etc??

If you had a lab test done, obviously there was a Doctor in the process somewhere along the way. Ask the Doctor. Must more reliable than meatheads with a google toolbar.

I'm 29, 5"10 178 six percent bodyfat. Well built. Never done a cycle of anything. My normal dr. is away for three weeks so I was going in for bronchitus and asked this new doctor for my test results. I asked him what my results for GH were and didn't even tell me. He just asked why I would need them tested. I said because I want a baseline because when I get older I might want to supplement some. He looked at me like I was a piece of shit and just made a copy of the results and gave them to me---with no interpretation.

When did you have it measured?

GH has a diurnal cycle, so it would be low at different times of the day, after eating..................

I think it is notoriously difficult to measure and not really useful unless you have acromegaly or a GH deficiency.

I am sure I have seen papers that were even debating as to whether or not IGF-1 levels are of any use clinically.
