ok, Gold's here has bought up every damn gym in the area and forced all the small ones out. Essentially my only choice for a gym. The equipment is nice but they have to play the gold's gym network and blare the absolute worst music of all time. Seriously, I am not sure who they think they are catering to because no one of any age likes any of the music they play. And unless You have studio headphones on you cannot block it out.

my golds plays alternative/punk/MTV-ish music.. which is alright, but that's what I bought the ipod for...

"Golds Gym Network"? What's that? TV? We have DirecTV as I can tell by the 'searching for sattelite signal' comes on all of the TV's when it snows real bad.

It's a DVD they play on the TV's every couple of weeks they get a new one... so you get the same shit over and over... along with a LOT of self promotion.
