Rolling Meadows - not far from here. I'd say about 40 minutes or so. Depending on traffic, though. Chicago traffic sucks. Not as bad as L.A. though.

I'm not sure. When I was in L.A. it was ALWAYS bumper to bumper. In Chicago, if you time it right - you can get lucky. Just have to know the traffic flow.

I guess I just had bad timing. Plus the toll roads were making me crazy. Everywhere else in the country you pay your damn toll and drive along. I think I spent like $9 in 2 hours on those IL roads. At least CA doesn’t have the nerve to charge you $1.50 when you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.

OH YES. The toll roads here SUCK. If you don't have an I- PASS it's $1 every time. Grr... I avoid toll roads.

It's CHICAGO. There's probably 2 around here and they aren't IN Chicago. They are in what they call "The Chicagoland Area."

The horshoe is right off the skyway by the steel mills in east chicago. and I thinks there is a harras and a bluechip also somehwere near. I've never been to the boats before.

I think most of them are in the hammond/gary/ec area and also in michigan city. One guy from work told me how his buddy won $3500 at the horshoe and someone followed him home from there to Dyer and robbed him at gunpoint at 9:00am.
