i hate how this always gets turned around back to something the dude has done wrong.
she simply doesn't have a sex drive...so as far as her needs not being met, he rarely has a chance to meat them, sexually speaking.
now i guess it could be other needs, and that's how it usually is...but he makes double what she does, is a stable and sober guy, will be a great dad, etc...so imo he is more than meeting the needs of her.
lol That's not what I was saying at all - I didn't make it about him, I made it about them. I thought I amde that clear in my very first sentence. I think it's a wife's er....duty...to make sure her husband is well taken care of. Just as I think it's the husbands job to make sure the same for her.
He could be doing everything right - but I will tell you this, if he tries to talk to her about it and he makes it all about her, she's going to resent him for it, and there will be even LESS sexy time. The only way they move forward is if he's willing to at least accept the possibility that he can be doing something more as well, or he's willing to at least PRETEND that it's partly his fault so that he doesn't put her on the defensive.
And his friend will never listen, and will distance himself. We all pave our own paths in life...the best we can do as friends of each other is try to help each other salvage our choices.
BTW, armyvet...I swear sometimes I think I have next to nothing in common with most of my gender when i hear things like that (which is all too often). I blame the extra testosterone I was exposed to in the womb.
