going back to natural...who has done it

All this UGL stuff has brought me to the decision to stay off gear. I'm interested in hearing from people who went off for a long time and what advice they have for me. Also how long do you have to weight to compete as a natural because I'm not ready to give up that just yet.

Keep training, eating right and focus on competing. I can't give a time line but I know quite a few people who compete professionally as powerlifters and BBers and are clean.

I myself trained for 4 years natural then did 3 cycles over a year and decided it wasn't for me so I went off them and trained for another year natural and competed. If you have trained for 4 or 5 years your muscles will be very mature so size loss will be minimal. I'm not going to tell you it doesn't effect you emotionally. You will loose some size and some strength but nothing much.
Recovery time should not be an issue depending on your age and most people that cycle still train only enough not to over train anyway.
Chances are you know your body well enough to know most important is eating anyway.
You should be fine.

Hrt is great if you're elligable but I wouldn't recommend it if you're under 40 unless absolutely necessary. (Though you can save it up and do a cycle -- legally).

If you keep training, you'd be surprised how much you can keep, and even grow. For that extra edge, there are lots of good supps. The UNLEASHED/Vigor/BIG BLAST stack can be almost "cycle-like." Lipoflame is a great pre workout stim. And Dermacrine and POST CYCLE will keep estrogen naturally low.

You'll be fine bro. A little more commitment and planning but it's a healthy choice. Congrats and good luck.

thanks all. When I was in my early 20's, renting a hole for an apartment and drivng a car that was a decade old the risk didn't seem that great. Now I'm 30, married and have a nice house. The dangers of finding new sources doesn't seem worth what I would be risking if I got caught.

oldandconfused...when you competed after a year of being off did they drug test? I thought to do natural shows you had to be off for a long time.

Nelson, would using any of those supplements effect a drug test for a natural show? I can say i tried unl;eashed and post cycle once when they had first come out a few years ago and they worked great but cost more then my normal PCT did. If those are legal for natural shows i will definitely go back to them.

cost more - yes

but, his products have LESS to NO sides

and THEY are LEGAL and do not buckshot your hormones!

Yeah, even though UNLEASHED and POST CYCLE are less expensive than other supps that are less effective, it's ironic that a natural compound would cost more than a drug. I guess you can look at the extra expense as the price for safety. Since they don't contain any chemical compounds they won't show up on a test, unless they test for FREE testoserone, in which case you'll be on the high side.
