Our live-in had a kid that was quite poorly parented. I mean, she wasn't the devil or anything, but she could be VERY annoying. The mother was a total whack job. Kid was 10 and she still sat her in a highchair.... I'm NOT KIDDING. Her kid was constantly doing shit (normal shit that ALL kids would do) but then she would lie about not having done it and her mother would take up for her. Stupid shit like - there's a mustard stain on my white carpeting. Three adults in the house. If I did it or my husband did it, so? It's our house. If our live-in did it, then it would stand to reason she would just clean it up before my husband or I noticed it. So let's see... 3 adults in the house and 1 kid. Mysterious yellow stain on my white carpet noticed by my husband. Gee, who could have done that?

I can't begin to imagine what a nightmare it would have been if my kids would have come with her and her daughter in the house. Can ya'll just imagine THE NIGHTMARE?... on top of all the other adjusting we'd have to do, to deal with dumb shit lies like that?
