And so it is Friday, the 23th of June, 2006

a new day...


Morning Weight:
totally spaced the ritual.. but feeling WAY harder and visually the mirror backs that up... pics on sunday for certain..


Morning Cardio:

45 minutes heavy ArcTrainer, HR at 153-161bpm...


Food and Supps:

PLANNED Calories low for the day, but much higher carbs than usual and lowered the fats. The endurance work wants the carbs... felt way better, way harder, for way longer. way cool.

Daily Supps
A basic listing, some will vary according to diet, but mostly the same day to day, for now...

Two Cardio Breeze, 2x/Day
3 Sublingual B-12
YES on Face, abs, handles, chest and ass, once or twice/day
2 pumps AIFM, site rotates per application, On rising and bedtime
Glucorell R, as needed
Sesapure, 3-6 per day, depending on cals and willpowa....

Basic Meals:

Two meals of One turkey snausage one turkey cutlet, some curried brown rice with dried cranberries, spinaca, broc and cauli, no cal dressing and assorted Tabascos

Two turkey patties with chipotles, wheat berries and lentil salad with black olives and crumbled feta

Two bowls of Heart to Heart cereal today, each with one cup of 1% milk... should do a third but may skip it for the sake of popcorn and Ostrim cals... we shall see

Should get three apples in today, but i may blow that off and do a medium bag of air pop at the movies.... no M&Ms though, alas, that is for another time....

Water:
3L thus far....


AfterNoonWorkout:

Just your basic heavy abs then HIIT sprints on the Eliptical for 15 minutes...
no oblique work today, getting a bit thick and need pull back on that stuff....

Inverted Radical Pikes: 4 sets, three of six one of four
Cable crunches: 3 sets of 8 @ 175, 185 and 195
Plate Crunches: incline bench at level three, 3 sets of 12, 25lb plate, 35 then 45... ouch.

Good day, abs are poppin' like never before... diet and VERY MINIMAL reps/sets.... just heavy heavy...

did movies, alone, as per usual, felt pretty useless and stupid going home to stare at laundry on a friday night at 8 oclock so i... of course... went back to the friggin gym and did chest and bis...

not even going to list exercises, feel a bit like the north end of a south bound bull right now. Dropped the ball on a friend today and that rubs me bad when i fuck up.

Hope to make up for it soon.... met a 'famous' trainer today, and the goofy part is he came by to meet ME! LOL.... oh my, i must be a good bullshit artist, even strangers are beginning to believe the hype...

I can relate in so many ways ... but I stayed at work until 9 pm then went to the grocery store, loaded up cart, and just said fzuck it.. left cart full sitting there and went home ... gym was closing.. couldn't make it ... craving more... ate last meal & starving, cals way under ... whatever

and could i give a bigger shout out to my girl, ultimate coworker and killer friend, S., who took the mettle to the metal and took... wait for it... FIRST PLACE at her show in SanDiego yesterday!!!

Two turkey patties with mustard no fat vinnegrette, groats and wild rice salad with black olives and chick peas

One bowl of Heart to Heart cereal today, one cup of 1% milk...

The extra cereal is for sprinkling on huge spinach, apple and turkey salad for later



Water:
3L thus far.... damn i have been slacking on the water intake

ATF Squats: four sets of 20 reps each, static weight of 135, minimal rest and very quick cadence...
Leg Presses: four sets of 20 reps each, static weight of 335.
HamCurls: four sets of 20 reps each, static weight of 90
LegExt: four sets of 20 reps each, static weight of 120
Seated Calves: four sets of 20 reps each, static weight of 90
Standing Calves: four sets of 20 reps each, static weight of 210

Delts FourWays: 4 monster sets of 10 reps per exercise, static weight of 20lbs:

Lateral Raises
Front Raises
Bent Lateral Raises

... repeat four times....






Look, i realize that this type of calorie restriction and this type of training doesnt make sense to most folks. I would not let any of my clients do this unless their goals had the purpose mine are geared toward with drastic fashion:

I am currently the leanest i have ever been. That is wonderful, i am not done yet. I still weigh too damn much to do the things i want to do, not fat mind you, but i need to shed lean body mass and this type of abuse will do that for certain. I am just sub 8% right now and still weigh 220lbs. I want to weigh 200 or less... I want to race to win, not just finish behind the lighter guys.

DT knows where i am coming from... wish he was around... gonna go try and find him....







On another note. I let my emotions get the best of me these past two days when i should have let some not all to serious stuff slide.... but i cound not.

I do what i do because i truly love it. I help people change their lives, change how they feel about themselves, accomplish things that due to their 'weight' they have either told themselves or been told that they could never do. I have saved a couple lives along this short way, and it moves me to no end to have had that effect on anyone. I am shamed to think i used to berate people for trying to NOT be locked into their shells as 'fat people'... i became one of them and was on the verge of some nasty business when my life changed.

I thought that that level of caring, that commitment to changing the lives of others and THEIR comitment to a paradigm shift in their own cycle of perceived failure was being flippantly thrown in the faces of everybody on this diet forum, and needed to step up. I should have kept my mouth shut: but could not.

I appologize openly to everybody here, including GJ, for not having the wisdom to walk away.

You all are trying so damn hard to do the right thing. What you do and learn here can change your life and positively effect those around you for all their years to come. You can learn here that you are in charge, that you MAY, that you CAN, that you MUST.

I am the soon to be chairperson of a nonprof dedicated to saving the kids of this country from negligent homicide. As parents, and i am one, we have let our country and the wealth of our future (children) become the sickest group of kids in the past century and a half. For the first time our children will not outlive their parents due to Obesity related illness. For the first time in history our life expectancy has gone down. DOWN. not because of war or famine or drugs or plague... because we are condoning our own collective suicides by complacency. Our nation is weak, physically and thereby mentally, due to your inaction on this imence issue. I cant let it just happen. You shouldnt either.




I hope you can understand a little better why, when the efforts and struggles of 'fat' people in an effort to save their lives is labled as weak or undisciplined, i get more than a little excited. Its not a joke. Its not even remotely funny. Should i have shown my years better by taking a callous joke and let it slide? GJ, i believe you didnt mean all that much harm by your comments, but i am a fighter, which i know you can understand and hopefully respect and thereby understand that in THIS situation, i couldnt just let it slide.

I am going to ask that if we need to talk this out, you and me, we do it PM's, i am not calling you out in any way with this explanation here, i just need to appoligize to those that trust that the signal to noise ratio on this forum will remain at more adult level, and i let that degrade by my own inablilty to turn the other cheek.

Heated topics are great when they benefit the members, this one served nothing but to waste time and effort on both of our behest.
