You don't laugh at women over shit like this, it causes them very real pain. This has nothing to do with political correctness, this is about trying to understand the feminine psyche, accepting there is a difference in the way men and women operate and having compassion for a woman's heart and mind. Other dudes, yes, fine, joke around with them, they don't give a shit. The woman you sleep with though? Totally different story. Finding humor in a situation like this when she's not ready only causes her to get hurt, because now not only does her body ache, her heart does, as well. She feels like you're making a joke out of her feelings, both physical and emotional. That you're trivializing what she feels.
And for the love of all that's holy at least give me the credit of trying to explain one facet of a woman's mind to you guys instead of telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. I am a girl, you know, I think I understand women pretty well.
Hurt is rug burns, injured is going to the ER and walking out after imaging scans wearing a neck brace.

I guess I like women with some toughness to them. Probably comes from the admiration I have for my grandmother...tough as nails:
-Has worked hard all her life with her hands, be it jobs, keeping a HUGE garden, ect
-As a young woman, survived the German/Soviet onslaugh in Poland...surviving in the woods for many days on her own after most of her family had died fighting and their farm had been siezed
-Went through an operation for a stent a few years ago, not ONE PEEP about being in pain afterwards (she wasn't taking anything stronger than regular Tylenol)
-Went through an operation to repair an aneurism in her abdomen three years ago, for which her abdomen was sliced pretty badly...again...not one bit of wallowing in self-pity over the pain
-Will turn 90 in May, still lives on her own, walks without a cane or anything like that
So you can see why I roll my eyes over the drama Shrimp's GF was causing, and your sprited defense of said drama

She just strained/sprained it, not like she fractured it and is now a quadriplegic. A little rest and she'll be as good as new. If it were anything serious, they would have never discharged her.
