Someone mentioned Wisconsin as a German refuge of sorts....well maybe to some extent, but a lot of things are blown out of proportion, such #'s of senior citizens in Florida compared to other southern states, chics in Cali with fake tits, etc.

However, a surviving member of the Waffen SS built a Hitler museum on his property somewhere in Wisconsin. He planned on opening it to the public but following much protest it's probably more of a private affair now.

I think one of the major travesties of the post WWII era was that all the movies made the German language sound so harsh and gutteral. When I was over there I was amazed at how soft and sexy German sounded when spoken by a woman! Especially when whispered softly in my ear! 20 years later I still get instant wood when I hear a woman speaking German!

And Hamburg is really no different than any other port city. If you think that is beautiful, please don't go to Prague, you might die of sensory overload. Even Amsterdam is way nicer than Hamburg. The only thing worth mentioning of Hamburg is the modern bridge across the river, the Reeperbahn and how dirty it can get... People from Hamburg hasve a reputation among Germans of being very snotty and "over your shoulder"... check out the Altona area in Hamburg for a taste of this.

If you are in the area, take a bus to Lübeck... that one is really nice!
