I tape relevant fortune cookie fortunes to my desk at work.
Here are some examples:
An interesting musical opportunity is in your near future.
You will be unusually successful in an entertainment career.
Your talents will prove to be especially useful this week.
You will do better in real estate than in stocks.
Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been.
People are naturally attracted to you.
You display the wonderful trait of charm and courtesy.
And I keep this one taped up in a prominent location:
Someone is speaking well of you.

I like those, especially the one with the wrinkles and smiles. So tell a new chick what instrument you play and is the entertainment biz what you do for a living or is it a hobby? Or a dream?
