thanks for posting, we can't help if we don't know. I would like to suggest posting in the EF substance abuse group. We have people who are familiar with addiction and specifically opiates. It's an open group, anyone is not only welcome but encouraged to join. As in most cases, there are others who will not post up but have the same problem/s. Your post may give them the courage to ask for help also, so do it for them.
In any addiction, it's the familiar catchphrase from the AA groups, one day at the time. Any addiction can be arrested, but it is done in small amounts. First, the easy one, stop using. Then the harder part begins, to figure out what it will take to not start again. Most programs have a set of steps given that have worked most often for the most people. I tried to do it many different ways, but always found myself useing again. I decided that MY way obviously wasn't working and decided to try a different approach. I would personally like to invite you to post in the New Beginnings group. I think that you'll find others who will have valuable tools for you to use if you want. If not, the 12th step in AA is "to help others who still suffer". Let us keep ourselves sober by lending a hand to you and whomever may need it. It helps keep us clean and sober.

good for you, gettibg thatmany percs is very hard. There are tons of oxy's on the black market. I'm surprised so many people can take that shit, feels like what heroin must be like.

Good for you bro.

I have lost a family member and a dear friend to OCs. You are doing the right thing. Stay strong and if you ever need some one to talk to The New Beginnings Substance Abuse Group is here for you. Good luck with your recovery.

way to go bro !!! great job scout ,i beat that same dog 10 yrs ago opiates sux, when i broke my back nov 14th 2006 the doc gave me oxys i said no way it scared me to death and he gave me vicodin and i very seldom even take one !!and my L5 is still fractured ,and will not mend ,working out makes me not hurt, the stronger the body the less pain i get ....ONE DAY AT A TIME BRO !

Just another thought here. You may want to stay off the juice until you have a bit of sobriety under your belt. There are WAY to many similarities between the 2 (no buzz with AAS of course). A lot of addiction is not just going after the buzz. It is the ritual behind it all, and the underlying needs in ones mind for something "different." Juice fill both of those roles. Its a very slippery slope my friend.

Part of recovery is brutal honesty. Allow me to be brutally honest with you.

You are detoxed, not "sober." Sober come later - after a lot of work.

Excellent! So great to here things like this because, often the story ends with the person winding up in jail or worse.

Glad to see you're making it through. Come post on here for support and for venting. We definitely got you bro.

Now go kick some ass in the gym! :supercool

I'm glad your life didn't have to fall to pieces before you came to your wits. Congratulations for your success.
