Fellow bad knee have'rs, need help?

My right knee is becoming a real pain in the ass (water on the knee). It used to bother me years ago, and now it's back. I did a pretty hard leg workout tonight and my knee has got a dull soreness in it. Anyone had any luck with glucosamine/chondroitin or wrapping it/knee braces? I'm on a eq/sust cycle and I'd rather not give my legs a break mid-cycle. :worried:

I had pins put in my knee after a bike wreck years ago, and I've taken glucosamine every day for 7+ years. I can tell you, it does help but you have to take it consistently over a period of time. There are drugs that are more powerful, but glucosamine is good for long term use. Deca does work, but it's only a short term solution if you have a chronic knee problem.

I have good days and bad days depending upon the weather. One thing is definite, if I don't continue to exercise my legs on weekly basis, my knee joints starting cracking big time. I use ice, ibuprofen or leg wraps when they really feel weak (I hate wearing wraps). Glucosamine/chondroitin never did anything for me. DMSO is good too, and I do take MSM regularly along with other vitamins. But regular exercise has been the best inhibitor of pain, and if your knees swells and has water in it then your capsules are breaking and I would ice them right after a lift. That would work better than anything that I could think of, other than a knee replacement - which many of us "bad knee have'rs" have in our future anyway.

Hey mang...every month Esquire magazine has a "drug of the month". They choose a supplement and have an editor try it and give their honest opinion, good or bad as to its effect. A few months ago9 they raved about a drug called MSM thats supposed to dramatically relieve joint pain. A buddy of mine with a bad knee said he's been using it for years. Good luck with that, brohoff.

Knox gellatin is made up of the spongy substance similar to chicken cartlidge and is incorporated by the body in joint repair, Jello is similar, sometimes i use both, Knox Gellatin can be purchased in orange flavor and drink like orange juice.

you can also buy pills at a supplement store called shark cartilage.. i had a few knee surgeries a couple years back and my cartilage is fucked... my mom got me the shark cartilage but i never took it, so i cant say if it works..but it is an option. i also have very bad shoulder pain from doing heavy dips a few years ago and it never went away, which sucks cause my shoulders are my fastest growers and look awesome. my last cycle i used deca for first time, and wow, i really had zero pain in knee or shoulder, fucking amazing. i will be doing the gelatin route like radar suggested, since i have heard others say thesame thing about it. question: on my next cycle i want to add only enough deca or npp to relieve joint pain, what is a recommended maintenance dose for that does anyone know? sorry to hijack...
titan..
hope you get it taken care of bro. i know how it feels.. =(
