Fat Girl strikes again!

So, i am at the gym tonight, just finished shoulders, and i started hamstrings. I started with a light warmup set on lying leg curls. I put my stuff on the machine and go get a drink of water. But when i go back, i turn the corner to get the machine and all i see is ASs as far as the eye can see. And not good ass , its the kind of ass that stretches as far as the eye can see. It turns out while i was getting my water, this fat girl comes over, takes my stuff off the machine, and uses it.

Fine, i figure, i will just alternate with her. But no! Of course she has to be one of the useless people who remains ON the machine inbetween her sets - like it would kill to burn a few extra calories and get up once in a while. So i got totally booted off my machine. And because my gym sucks, there was no other gym like it.

Now generally, i respect fat people in the gym cause i figure they are making the effort, and hell, i an't the leanest guy. But i HATE people who are just plain inconsiderate. I mean it was the machine I was using! And i was literally gone like 15 seconds gettings a sip of water. I hate when that stuff happens.

Once again, i would like to state that my gym sucks ass

thats another reason why you should never use machines ;)

very few machines do have their place though, like the reverse hyper and..well, thats probably it.
 
What should i do instead of machines for hammies? When i got kicked off the leg curl, i did some dead lifts, but i just didn't get into it cause i was so distracted.

Other than dead lifts, lying and seated leg curls, i dont know what else to do??

Sorry about the mistake, when i said dead-lifts, i mean stiff legs. I dont do regular dead lifts cause i can never seem to do it right and it always its my shins and quads (dangit!).

But generally, i like to do hamstrings first on the lying or seated leg curls, then do deadlifts so that my hams are fatigured and i dont have to do big weight on the stiff legs so i can concentrate on hams and not so much on lower back.

Lying leg's are one of the most effective hamstring excersises. IMHO.
I agree I cant stand people that are that inconsiderate, I noticed that when i go to use the water foutain i get jacked on some machines too. So i just started bringing a water bottle, solved that problem. ;)

That tends to mean you're doing them correctly, if I'm not mistaken?
 
No matter what even if you just do stif legged dead lifts, if you do them for more than 8 weeks, your body will start to adapt to this movement, limiting your gains. Even if you use machines IMHO at least your switching things up which is good to do IMO. Theres too many negative views on machines, which is completely rediculous, you want to isolate a muscle go with a machine, or isolation moves i guess.
 
Why didn't you open your mouth and tell her you were using the machine, you just went to get some water?

I'm sure she would let you back on.
