Excess Estrogen = Weakening Bones

Hey guys, new member here, was on a couple other boards for the past couple years. I recently broke my scapula playing football, and I was about 25 days off of my last cycle, and into PCT. Just wondering if maybe there was a link between me coming off cycle with escalated estrogen levels and potentially having weaker bones.

I think its the opposite. Also it would take longer than a few weeks even if it was in teh reverse. This is from a medical web site.."The longer your body is exposed to estrogen, the lower your risk of bone loss and fractures", "your body produces less estrogen, putting you at higher risk for osteopenia."

Just look at older women with a decreased estrogen production they are fragile and break bones easily, so high estrogen will not weaken your bones but it does just the opposite, make them stronger to an extent.
The only thing that I can think of that would cause some harm is the use of test by itself. Even though it increases protein synthesis it reduces collagen synthesis big time. That's why it is not a good idea to do test only cycles....a fact that very few know about.

good info, I have talked to a few older ladys at the clinic who are on prescription estradiol is it????

thats low dose estrogen to help with prevention..Although when they are old they are screwed pretty much..But i think with bodybuilding it would take years of low estrogen not just teh few weeks you may be on some anti e.

Yeah im getting off letro, my bones cant handle it

also not running a grip of gear anymore so no use

going back to Dex, cant go wrong !

Yep, if anything, an anti e would make you more suseptable to a bone breaking.

I'm suprised how many ppl who use steroids do not know many of these facts...Nelson.
BTW no offense to anybody here :)
I guess I'm old school and been around the block for a while LOL

Hmmm....I wonder if all the Novla/Clomid I was taking made me more susceptible, and my body probably had low estrogen levels for awhile. I also took Anastrozle on cycle. BTW, EQ and Var were included in the cycle partly due to their collagen synthesis benefits.

I might be reaching to draw an unrealistic conclusion from all of this. My scapula had 2 major fractures and several smaller ones, creating a shattering effect. The doctor said that type of trauma is consistent with a car accident. All that happened to me was I took a helmet to the scapula and then I landed on my forearm/elbow, which caused the ball of my shoulder to slam back up into the socket so hard that cause fracture(s) in the adjacent scapula.

I do not have any concrete proof to second your concern, bro....what's for sure is that you experienced hormonal changes very drastic especially during PCT. It could be that some hormonal changes coupled with some genetic make up may have, favored your injury to be a lot worse than it should have been otherwise.

It is possible that your conclusion might be right if I had to give you my opinion on this
