How important are they to the PowerLifter?

How are they usually trained? What exercises?

What rep-range? Weighted?

1X a week?

I'll probably have more specific questions if those are answered. Currently I'm training the obliques on a seperate day from abs and just doing 4X sets of sit-ups or leg raises to failure.

train them when you train your abs.......... try twice a week to start......... on squat/deadlift day........... if you need more... then adjust your schedule.......... obliques stabilize you and are very important coming out of the hole in squats,and deadlifts

as for exercizes sets and reps........ go to elitefitnesssystems.com and read what they have to say......... it will be well worth your time
