Heck, I guess I have it made.

I have a 2500 sq ft house, electric heat pump, keep the heat at 69 degrees and my heating bill usually costs around $70. The most it is is around $129 in February.

Same here - smaller house, but pretty much the same setup and costs.

OMG, I couldn't imagine paying that. My utilities will be in my condo fees. Good thing, because I need the thermostat at 75 degrees during the winter.

We used to set it in the mid 70's. When we did that, our upstairs stat showed 82!!! EIGHTY fucking TWO!!! and it's 20 degrees out. I programmed the stats now and it's running a little more smoothly. I wish i could compare to my neighbors with the same house designs as mine. You could never really do that realistically, because everybody lives a different lifestyle and schedule.

Note** Due to the 35+ replies, nobody will be banned today. Thank you.

You're the best mod ever.

LOL I don't know about "best", but certainly the hardest working.

Perkele is still a mod, right?

Some people actually open the door and go outside for awhile.

I called the HVAC man today to come and look at my systems and see what I can do to make things a little more efficient around here. Are you supposed to change the filters on these things?:D
