statistical data would be difficult to apply to such a ambiguous assertion "most jacked guys are losers" i think we would do better by applying achems razors. most jacked guys are deficit in other areas and getting jacked is a compensatory measure.getting jacked to the exclusion of everything else is pathological. i would love to wax philosophical and dazzle you with my superior intellect but thats it. i am obsessed with fitness but i do not prioritize it above everything else in life. i have a family and a six figure income. i am an extreme personality and balance is hard earned for me. lets not forget that a bit of narcissism is ever present in all high achievers. we must all strive for equilibrium.calveless wonder said:....usually drive shitty cars, have mediocre jobs, and aren't very successful in life outside of the gym? Sure, everyone's definition of success is different, but overall most of these really big dudes i see/talk to probably dont make more than 40-60k a year and are stuck in go nowhere careers.
I hate to generalize, but i noticed this is an overwhelming trend. I'm guessing it's because of the amount of time most people have to dedicate to eating/cooking/the gym itself to attain that type of physique.
of course you have exceptions (pitbullstl was always one of the dudes that stuck out in my head), but it's a little discouraging.
i know i've never been able to completely focus on business(and my social life for that matter) and the gym at the same time and give both maxium effort. i've either been relatively jacked and broke, or doing well and out of shape. right now i'm probably above average with both.
that balance is tough to attain. especially without any gear. if you're running growth hormone (somatropin) - year round and doing a couple of cycles yearly (or if you just have awesome genetics), i can see it being alot easier.
i figure if i make enough money to be completely comfortable, i'll minimize the stuff that takes alot of time (cooking, prepping food) and just pay someone to do it.
