ever been to a hookah bar?

no, but I've met a few hookas at bars...

what goes on in there. Here in FL you can't smoke if they serve food in there. ???
 
yes ive been to a real hookah lounge in miami, they would put the pipe through a watermelon, pineapple, or coconut and have over 100 different flavor of sheesha!! ive been smoking hookah for a loong time now, i hate cigarettes never smoked them but hookah is the shit! 2 of the clubs i am resident DJ down here have hookah and hookah menus but i never seen them clean them and they also dont use plastic tips for the mouth piece of the pipe, so i dont touch these... and i also have 2 hookahs my house :)
 
I may be showin my age, but I've never seen anything but hash being smoked in a hookah. I'd been a shame to put some blond hash through a fricken watermelon. So, I'm guessing they smoke something else over there in Miami....
 
I'm trying to think of something less appealing. It's hard.
 
I see no point unless you are smoking the real deal

I do not like. I love. I used to sit with beatnik friends and my tunisian bro, would bust out the hookah with some cherry sheeshah, then thrown in a little herb and we would sit smoke the peace hookah and really talk about girls, friends, how and generally an air of appreciation just emanated into the whole room.
Hookahbars are kewl, but the expeirence I've had in my mid twenties smoking with 5 or 6 good bros diverse on the surface, but same under all the illusory differences... well that shit is straight up priceless.

they ROCK! LOTS of cute girls there dancing if you find a great one. just move onto the dance floor and do some flirting. i go maybe twice a year. even if you dont smoke they have some great food and beers/shots. its a great place to mingle at.
 
i think you all are full of shit. the one here has a fucking KIDS MENU!! what kind of place would have kids in there if it is like you say. also remember FL doesn't allow smoking in places that serve food.
 
hmm. well in cleveland its different. dont know what to tell you. if there aint hott girls dancing and chaos then i wouldn't go.

Hell even in Jacksonville Florida, not exactly the mecca of culture, anyway there was an awesome arabic restaraunt that had undeniably Persian beauties serving us, while my friends and I smoked some fine sheeshah.
Its an experience of bonding with friends plus, with a huge rush, that overwhelms your nicotonic receptors. To me it an arabic custom that is similar to the native american tribal culture of just being open and laid back with your bros. How could anyone not dig on that?

To me its just like an activity of appreciation of friendship through some pleasant nicotonic, and dopamine elevation and warm convo.
However, if one thinks its weird, then they should go ahead and keep thinkin its weird, and not even try it.

Openmidedness and the courage to move past the familiar and repetivive routinzation that stagnates peeps, well challenging that is for queers. -non geigh sense- LOL.

no i dont live in Miami, i spin there every year for WMC week...

(You smoke sheesha in a hookah pipe, its flavored tabbaco and will get you lightheaded to the point you cant stand if you smoke enough of it, its more a social thing if you ask me, sit around the hookah with good bros and talk about life... nothing but good times)

not sure man....probably just hang out at home, not a fan of going out on new years....everyone's drinking, dnt want to beat someone half to death for being an asshole :)

Dude U and I are in the exact same mood, like with all this time to reflect, and its such a switch, cause You are always moving like how to better yourself, close deals, training, and then everyone is bugging U, U ready for the holidays, like its fucking transcendental bliss or something... well, what it should be and what it is due to the nature of our culture, and whatever are not quite one and the same.

This is not really totally true, just for me being moody right now, even though I'm one lucky fucker, but yeah end of the year, and U like feel well, like something is missing... anyway, yeah... like I had a good year, but hell I"m not exempt from the emptyness.

On that note, yeah The strip will be flooded with an estimated 300,000 peeps going insane, like my Dad is with with my brother doing some like Radiation Oncology US/Phillipines building another Oncology Clinic with other US doctors, so Its just me and mom, I shoppped, planned on reading, and wasn't in the mood.

So yeah, I've been distracting myself from end of the year type bullshit, with doing more research on smartphones, like I'm some scientist isolating the gene for character or something like that, so Yeah, I"m gonna have a quiet new years, and even though I got a GF right now, I"m kinda glad its just me and mi madre, probably go across the lake to the Ritz and have some dinner, I'm not smoking out anymore, so its gonna be my first sober new years in like a decade perhaps...

So yeah, right there with ya. Still, gotta lot to be grateful for, and the end of the year is just a reflection of the cycle of life... or something like that.

I've smoked chron out of them numerous times, usually schwag cuz it's kind of a waste to smoke nugs out of it, wastes a bunch, but have a few times. Usually when it's dank it is one or two hit quit for a bit, at least for me. You inhale pretty deep off a 4 hoser.....

I had one ganked from me by the cops :( It was a cheap one though, so no biggie.
