Squatted 405x5 to parrallel or 1-2" below on Sunday, bodyweight 201. I'm still losing weight but my strength is going up. The only problem is my grip is weak as shit, that and I have a hard time doing Zerchers cause my arms are short :mad: , the bar never seems to sit in my arms.

Just a general bitch, my training method is going well, just need to compensate for weak grip and hopefully my events will catch up.

Hope all is well with other Strongmen
 
I always thought grip was one of your strengths man:confused:

Better get on top of that bro. Can't be a badass machine with a weak link like that:)

My grip is Strong for a normal person, but that is not enough for my goals... My grip gives out before my legs and back and that is not a good thing. I am gonna work on it untill I can grind out the number 2 crusher with ease. I can get #1 with each hand
 
I need to start training the COC me thinks. Just enough to close no. 2 and that will be enough for my needs :)

you will be suprised on how much grip helps, your other lifts will go up and then you will need a better grip, a viscous cycle :)

Thanks, just that t3c bar is very wide 3"+ in diameter so it never sets right, it just lays on my forearms, not enough learance between bis and forearms :rolleyes:
 
nice squat man...one of these days ill be at that point..how often and what do you do when you train grip?
 
one day events which are taxing to say the least and another with static holds, just started last week. HOpefully I can make some progress before Feb
