Alright fella's, you'd better look out, I actually have abs under that layer of fat and I can just now start to see 4 of them! I've never seen them before, so I finally figured out that they really do exist! (WOOOHOOO!)
Stats: 38 yrs old, 6'5" tall, 249lbs.

I'm not radar but it would be a good idea. Then after the contest is over just update the thread with the after pics and even rename the thread if you have to. :artist:

what's up satch bro.. my stats:

5' 8
172 lbs
about 9 % bf.

my first cycle i was able to bench 315 x 3 times. Several times indeed! Now, I know you're much bigger than I am..so what's up wid dat! Do i have to refer you to div? lol.. I bench 2 x's a week .. warm up with 135 x 10's, then go directly to 205 x 10s, 225, 5 times, 255 5 times, 275 x 5 times, then 305 x 3 times and then 315 x 3. Sometimes, if I max, i will 205 x 10, then directly to 275 x 3 and then to 315 x 3. I'm at 295 x 5 right now. You better get it or I'm calling you out bro.

My sweetie realizes that it isn’t about pushing the heaviest weight but completing the perfect form during the exercise… That is how he gets all the ladies….. :heart:
 
Yeah! Shave that jungle.
The bad part about it...it never was that thick until I shaved a while ago. Anyway, it is still cold weather and I have not took care of it yet. I have already had the back and upper arms waxed twice, but I don't think I could handle having the back and chest at the same time...but I think I am going to wax my chest this year instead of shave...Just so I can try to thin it down a little.
 
I don't worry about what other people bench. 315 is plenty for me on the flat and incline. My buddy warms up with 315... 35 reps. Ever seen a grown man cry. I just about did spotting that. So I don't give a shit any more.
Goldprospector... I'm 6'3" 237. 32 y/o. We have pretty similar stats. Lets stick together and keep each other motivated.

I don't know about all of that! I am going in "Most improved" category and also weight class.
So I don't guess it matter where I place...even if it is last, As long as the mirror will tell me that I look good. Then I'll always win!

dude, I'm not trying to be a prick here, but at 172lbs and 5'8", why are you running steroids? You could have gotten a whole lot bigger than that without gear....

i was like you. (glad to see i am not alone in that dept.) i could do 285 for 10 ... and could not push 315 all the way up.... no one would belive me either ha ha... they would say ,oh man you gat get 315... and i would see little skinny guys push it up..
I have always been better at reps... finally got it.. it is strange when you first start lifting and getting stronger... you think that all weight will eventually feel light. 315 is heavy shit to the hands and wrists....

What about incline..??
 
Well since the thread has been thouroughly highjacked...Let me chime in on the new subject! 315? Damn...It has been so long since I first pressed 315...I do believe it was back in 1983, my junior year at high school!
I lifted on and of for years and it never took me much time to get back to over 300 lbs bench. I have been back at it seriously for the past 2 years and I was back to being over 300lbs on the bench in less than a year. Last time I tried anything super heavy was back in Late October...I did 340 for 3 reps.

172 is light, but lets put things into perspective. If he was 6' and 200lbs would you be saying the same thing?

I've heard numbers like 8lbs/inch. So if he were 6' tall he'd weigh 204lbs roughly

But I agree with a lot more weight can be gained naturally, and you are the perfect example needsize. How much did you weigh before running AAS?

I encounter the same thing. When I position myself under 315 it feels heavy. You just have to get used to it. Even when I know I will not get it I still try so my body can get used to handling it. Oddly enough, I can pump out just as many reps on the incline as I can on the flat... weird. I am trying to retrain myself on position on the bench to more of a powerlifting form. Hope it helps.

I was 185lbs at 7-8% bodyfat when i started my first cycle, I'm a hardgainer so it took until age 27 to get there, i was 210lbs at the end of the first cycle
