I need some reviews about my book. "the Anabolic kitchen"/ in the fitness kitchen. good or bad I really do not care.

I know many of you have posted on it already and there is thousands of reviews
already on the site, but I need them all in one thread for a news letter that will be made for the book. I do not feel like searching threw the 5000 threads already made on the subject for all the reviews. So post them up here.

good or bad please make it worth it. The best ones will win free k. Thanks guys

i will be the first--the power bars are just the best--no ingred that i cannot pronounce and i make sunday for the week.

veggie hash browns are the best--prefer the zuchinni :RADAR

spicy african soup--killer :RADAR

kahlua jerk chicken --killer x 2 :RADAR

have not tried the egg recipes b/c allergic to them.

and best of all--direction for those of us who are kitchen-challenged :Chef: :Chef:

I have the book and i must say i love that fact that it breaks everything down for you for example how to store you food to keep it fresh wether you should store something in the fridge or the freezer. There are so many different recipes in this book that you can not get bored with you food any more i promise you that. Anyone who gets this book will not be disappointed needto knows what he is talking about in this book and he is a good bro on the EF site. I especially like how he teaches you to make weeks worth of meals in just hours of you time on the weekend and that is fucking sweet i know i hate cooking dinner and then cooking again right after that so i have food to eat all day the next day too while i am at work so when you get it all done in one day its so much easier and you have more time after dinner to spend with you family. A big thanks to Needtochef for bringing us such a great book ill never need to order anouther cooking book again thanks to him. :)

I will do my best to make sure of this to. Every one will be getting 12 months of updates to the book. Every month I will be adding a new chapter of tips and recipes. The first update is a week or two away from don and its a big one.

You guys don't hang from my nuts. I hang from yours. Your all m friends. Just say how you feel.

the time and money that i saved in the first couple weeks using the book paid for itself so to me it was worth every penny. not to mention the recipies are out of this world

anabolic kitchen has totally changed my eating habits around ..i went from eating junk to having highly nutritious meals planned throughout my day, every day of the week. The unlimited bodybuilding recipes and ease of use of this book is unmatchable .This is a must have for everyone , from the advanced bodybuilder to the average heath conscious person

general tow's chicken is excellent. my family and I also love the wheat germ chicken. but the apricots and wheat germ really set off the general tow's chicken. I like it better than the chinese bbq sauce from their version.

I also enjoy the peanut butter chocolate oatmeal in the mornings or the strawberry and cream oatmeal with a shake. I tend to wake with little time to prepare breakfast but these oatmeal recipies are perfect for me.

Here's the deal:

It took me 3 days of negotiations with my wife and an almost fight over whether or not to purchase the book. In all honestly, my wife thought paying 50$ for a cookbook is a bunch of bullshit...she thought it was going to be a waste of time and not worth the hours of hard labour at my job....the book cost me almost 2 day's hard 11 hour shifts to pay for it...

Here's the end result:

When I downloaded it, my wife wouldn't speak with me for an entire day. She said that I spent money on nothing and I'm wasting our hard-earned money. It wasn't pretty and I had to figure something out to save the night and get my wife happy with my decision to purchase the book....and what better gift than to cook her something special.

I had everything planned out: a romantic meal in our backyard, with candlelight and the sweet scent of a good meal. Only problem is, I don't know how to cook to save my life. I thought I was doomed and considered cheating, i.e. getting the food from somewhere else and lying to my wife, but I'm an honest man and wouldn't consider such a thing.

When I almost gave up and decided the night was doomed, I remembered my purchase and the book that has started it all: In the Fitness Kitchen.

I scrolled through the first page of the book and looked at the name Nathan Chase. I thought to myself, Nate you bastard help me out bro...I need your help here....flipped through the dedication and introductions, including the descriptions of the terms involved in cooking, which were really cool and informative btw.

After a couple of minutes, I stopped turning pages and read something I liked: Chicken and Black Bena Chilli. I know that my wife loves black beans from a chinese rest. that we used to visit, and she always used to order the same plate because it had black beans in it...I cannot believe how easy it is to cook and prepare meals using this book....any n00b can do it...and you can make yourself look good while doing it....I laos used the side dish of chiken grape salad....WOW...that dish was awesome....

That night, my wife appologized and said that this can prove to be a good investment...not only did I get a nappology out of my wife, which almost never happens...but I got great sex

Thank you needto - stand up bro....great book....will cherish it!

Now tell your wife I am the man. No just kidding bro. I am glad it worked out for you. I remember talking with you on the phone about how you were going to get a ass reaming if you spent the money. So its good to see it worked out in the end. Now you can cook all kinds of stuff for her and your investment will keep giving back to you.

lol...when we talked on the phone that night, I thought no way I'm going to buy it....but things worked out like you said.....Great book!! :)

I have had several cookbooks, I count seven right now on a shelf collecting dust. Needto's book is by far the best I've had, and is the only one I've used since getting it. I've learned about cooking food, saving food (which has saved me some serious money in itself), and techniques to make your food better. The best part, ITS SIMPLE. Anyone can use it, and I recommend it from the bodybuilding and athletes straight down to the people who just want to enjoy great food.

To all the guy's out there who think they can't cook, get this book. Why you ask? I'll tell you why. If you have never ever cooked anything in your life, this book will explain every aspect of cooking healthy food from start to finish in the simplest terms possible. First the book starts out with the author explaining to you his many years of proffesional cooking experience, so you can feel confindent that the healthy recipes that follow aren't just some made up baloney. Then he goes on to explain all the terminology that is used in cooking, in my opinion this is a big part of the puzzle.

The recipes themselves are original, well thought out, easy to duplicate in the kitchen, and healthy. Needtochef is a bodybuilder, so you know that each and everyone of the recipes is going give you the macronutrients your body needs to meet the high protein requirements of the sport of bodybuilding and a healthy lifestyle in general. One of the problems I've alway's run into in my bodybuilding endeavors, is getting bored with my diet. With In The Kitchen Fitness Cookbook that problem is solved. I never thought of so many different ways to make oatmeal and eggs for breakfast. You can literally make a different breakfast every day of the month, amazing.

The other thing I really like about the In The Fitness Kitchen Cookbook is how it teaches you to cook food ahead of time, so you have all your meals prepared for the week. This has alway's been a huge problem for me. How to prepare enough food to carry me through the work week? With this cook book it's a snap. It explains not only how to cook food in bulk, but also how to properly store the food and portion it for a quick microwave meal while at work.

I have to say if the In The Fitness Kitchen Cookbook was the only cookbook you ever bought you would never be dissapointed. This book is not just for bodybuilders either, anyone who wants to learn to cook and lead a healthy lifestyle for themselves and their family's will benefit by owning this book. If you did'nt think it could get any better how about the updates and new recipes that will be added throughout the next year. I say keep it coming Needto. Thank's.

This is an amazing cookbook. If you haven't ever purchased a cookbook before, then this is the one to get. If you have gotten cookbooks before, get rid of them, because this is the only one you will ever need.

The recipes are laid out nicely, and all of the ingreedients are things that you have heard of and that are easily accessiable at your local grocery store. The best part is, if you have never cooked, if you have trouble boiling water, this is the perfect book for you! Everything is step-by-step and very easy to follow.

I have way too many favorite recipes to list here, but if you buy and eat protein bars, THEN YOU NEED THIS BOOK! In less than a months time, this book will pay for itself just by making your own protein bars at home! Not only are they better for you, but they taste a fantastic as well!

I am considered an excellent cook by my family and friends. This book has brought my cooking to another level. I could keep writing about this all day, but I think I am going to go make some protein pancakes and low-carb zucchini hash browns!!!!!Do yourslelf, and your family a favor and get this book. You'll always be glad you did!

Before I ordered "In The Fitness Kitchen" I thought that the bodybuilding life meant a llife of plain dry chicken breat, steamed broccoli, and plain brown rice 5-6 times a day. The problem with this diet is there is no way you will want to eat therefor you will not have what you need to grow. Well, after I purchased my copy of In The Fitness Kitchen, my culinary world was unlocked and I am now able to eat great tasting food that is easy to prepare but I am getting the balanced nutrition I need achieve my training goals. Whether you a kitchen idiot or a mastered chef this book is a must have! You are doinig yourself a disservice every day you go without it!

The book is awesome. I use it to make at least 5-10 meals a week. This is the only cookbook that is totally dedicated to bodybuilding scene. I just wish that need2 will let us add our receipes in his next rev. Thanks for all the help. FLEX

I will have to add a "lahm b3ajeen" recipe or something from my grandma's kitchen

I honestly don't think I could have stomached plain oatmeal and hardboiled eggs for breakfast one more day. All he protein pancake recopies have changed my life.

I did find it hard to navigate and comprehend on the computer but I had my lady print it up at her work and I put it in a 3 ring binder that I keep in the kitchen now. If I need to get ingredients I pull the page and bring it to the store so I don't forget anything and return it when I'm done.

The price of it is nothing to sweat, it pays for itself really quick, weather it be food storage or even cooking a few meals for your girl.

I'd love to get your book...but have to wait. I am going through the bid "D" and am hunkering down for a while on expenditures.

That's a cue for the ladies on Elite to ask when I will finally be available LOL.

Seriously though, its tough to prepare proper meals, and you seem to have done all the research. I'll probably be getting it in the near future.

I've been beating myself up about buying the book.. In all honesty I hate e-Books, they are clumsy to navigate, and tend to lack that "I want to keep reading" vibe.. Then again, this is a cook book, not a novel. So I jumped in today I picked up my copy.. I've yet to try anything but I have read down to Chapter 3...that's the "Prepare 7 days of meals in 5 hours". The man does it up, breaks it all down.. Sure it's 3 set meals a day for one week.. But I just read through and got a bunch of ideas, now I can use other recipe's in the book to make an extra meal or two for each day, or add diversity to my weekly prepped meals.. I work in IT, I sit at a keyboard all day, and night.. The only time I have really is all of Sunday. I'm looking forward to making my first week of meals this coming weekend. I'll save money, time, and limit my set backs. Around this district it costs me 10 bucks for a decent (eh..) plate.

Bump this is up. This is a great book and everybody should check it out.

I love the fact that is very easy to read and follow the instruction given. The recipes are outstanding. Two thumbs up. I would highly recommend this cook book to any one.

I am sitting here chowing down on a anpb on whole wheat. Some times the basics taste good to.

You say that as I'm eating a grilled cheese (yes whole wheat) and tomato soup. lol

If you are on the fence about ordering this book, JUST DO IT!!!

This book is something you will always use and never regret getting.

anabolic kitcken is a must buy for everyone .. needtochef = the chef of the future

The recipes are easy to follow and relatively quick (which is an issue for me. Who wants to cook all day when you should be eating and lifting!). I have made several items in here, including the Meal Replacement Bars which I love as a breakfast on the go. Great book, delicious food, nice price. Plus you help the site and Needto (good bro is an understatement!), so Its a Win-Win-Win.

People will drop 75 dollars on a sup or more on a mouths worth of protein powder. They will drop 10x as much on a cycle. Take out 50-75 dollars to spend on the most importent part of it all.

You never have to spend it again. you buy it just once and its there for life. Not only that but you get more ever month. All you had to do was pay the price one time.

The book will not go unused. You will use it and use it often.

Where is my 100,000 karma? JK, I could really care less, just wanted to add my opinion in your super thread here.

I've bought supplements, protein of all kinds, vitamins, fat burners, etc. What a waste of money! I wish I had "In the Anabolic/Fitness Kitchen" BEFORE I had spent all that cash. By cleaning up my diet, I've lost 59 pounds! The next 20 will be lost in the gym, but without the diet aspect, I'd never be in a position to do the hard work in the gym. This book is amazing - so easy to use. You will not be disappointed.

Sounds like a great book. I have a milk allergy, so I cant have a lot of ingrediants. Would this book still help me out. I look at books but I can hardly ever use them. Let me know.

do you have a link for the book. i looked around and can't find it.

This book has all the right ideas and something in it for everyone, the best supplements money can buy are still just supplements and cannot compare
to the exact science of a good clean diet which this book depicts
perfectly. Again the ideas are an almost perfect science that eliminates pretty much all the guess work we have all been through, well maybe if I try this or maybe try that then Iwill see a better result maybe? Buy the book and skip the maybe's get the science of the right foods of the right portions at the right times, the science of these ideas have been around along time but never as well put together as this book is, I will rec. this book to every one in life just for the health of it if not for anything else. Sincere thanks to the Author of In the Anabolic kitchen he's a true Elite Mentor. Needtogetthisbook.

First, I love the book and use it all of the time. That being said here's what I would change:

The downladable version (I'm assuming is the only version) seems to run together a little much. I would like to see one recipie per page for entrees and the such. While cooking I have to keep flipping from one page to the next while my hands are full of food. This would make it easier.

I would like to see breakfast, lunch and dinners in one part of the book. Protein shakes and supplements (protein bars) should be in another section.

That's what I would change. Any maybe have someone proof read a little better. :)

I'm just trying to help you, you KNOW I wouldn't disrespect you. :)
