Not me, fucking hate it! Gives me a cold for weeks and I'm basically miserable all winter...but hey I don't get the flu right?

As far back as I can remember, I'll say age 3 until age 10 ('79-'86) I never got a shot, and when I did at age 10 its was a tetanus shot. Never once did I get a flu shot growing up in the 80's and 90's, hell even in the early 2000's.

Now its media hype every year that if you don't conform and get a flu shot you're an ass hole.

Same here *knock on wood*. Can't remember the last time I had a flu shot and can't remember the last time I had the flu. I also know a few people who say the same but decided to get a flu shot for the hell of it...and ended up getting the flu. No thanks.

I work in a hospital and it's amazing the "pressure" you get to get the shot. When H1N1 was big, everyone was so divided on getting the vaccine or not. Those of us who didn't...figured we'd be run out of town!

I get it. I don't get it for myself so I don't get sick. I get it because there are people in my life where dying from the flu is a serious reality. Dead. Forever. In the ground. lol Other than that...I probably wouldn't bother and understand why otherwise healthy people would skip it.

so, funny story about the H1N1 shot. My wife worked at a hospital where they were promoting the shot. They asked us to do a picture for a poster promoting it. My wife was prego. THey asked told her she needed to get the shot first. She told them that she wouldn't do the poster then. Well they used our picture anyway, lol. And we never had the shot done ourselves. Wait, how do i feel about that?
