i think when he brings it up its pretty relevant to the topic or discussion.

there's certain things i talk about frequently but there's usually a correlation between that and the discussion.

I will say this about LB though....merely an observation.

i think he's an expert in using flattery, and i've noticed at times it can be greatly exaggerated. He however does, have a great way of making people feel important.

layingback is one of the best people, I have ever met in my entire life, and has been a great friend, dedicating something that is one of the most precious resources his time, to sharing his experiences with me talking with me and helping me with pretty much any situation I could use his assistance in.

He does not brag or promote himself, 99% of the time, he is drug into this kind of conversations and posts.

One of the first things this man has ever told me about in becoming successful is humility and being humble and I think he truely does possess that.

Even though he is one super narcasistic motherfucker, who on EF isn't though.

like I said, I think most people drag him into a dogfight when it comes to said things, or he shares his experiences with people who are genuinely interested in hearing about them, he is no way trying to brag or making anyone feel less superior or important, that isn't his style.

also alot of times it's often in jest or sarcasm from what I've read.

One of the best bros on EF hands down in my opinion.

based on the threads I have read layinback can take a few pokes and be kind in return. I've poked fun at his $100,000 wardrobe and he takes it in stride and gets a laugh out of all of this. Some here can take shit too personally and he doesn't

I agree with this. I have come across more then half a dozen of his posts where he seems to drop how tough he is, how he would kick the asses of certain members here since he was in jail. How he was a "hired thug", 400k+ cocain dealer, he's psted his income more then a couple of times etc....

I think there are a couple of reason as to why certain members here are more inept to brag or boast about themselves. It seems to be a character trait of newbies and their need for recognition, acceptance or a way to establish themselves within the e-community. Secondly i feels it's done out of being able to contain your own ego. And of course there is always the tried and true explanation of overcompensation for insecurities.

i don't believe in hiding behind a computer screen. don't say

anything to me or others that u wouldn't say face to face.

i did learn something in organized crime and the joint

and that is RESPECT. i'm not a hypocrite. i do it

i don't like bullies and i've always protected the underdogs.

I'd like to read and enjoy layinbacks posts, but I can't get past the wierd posting format he always shows (double spaced, huge right side margin, etc). My eyes just reject it after a few lines. Why the hell does it show up that way?

i don't have an answer to this nef. i think my OCD dictates most of my
actions. it might also explain my repetitive nature. i am a business
owner and i've managed literally thousands of people over the last
20 years and folks are always asking me why i repeat myself.
probably the same reason i double space my post. crazy compulsion.
oh i did this one in the orthodox just for you

When I was younger, I thought I repeated myself because I was a control freak. As I got older,read some books, aquired a few therapists.... I learned otherwise.
Everything REAL is found between the lines.

that's been my experience. as you know, i believe the template for our

lives is set by age six. therapy and caring folks saved my life (and the lives

of those around me lol)

i have lived a very dramatic loud life. i am content with peace and quite

now.but i still have an impossible time with being a face in the crowd.

actually i was shot twice!!! once in the left leg ouch!!!! couldn't go to the

doc for that one.....extenuating circumstances so to speak.

lost my spleen when i was hit in the liver with a 38.

i can't fight off certain bacterium and it leaves me prone to life threatening

infections. the trauma to my diaphragms still gives me grief.
