d-bol and deads/squats

okay, I am strting the 5x5 routine tomorrw and am slowly putting the carbs back in my body over the next 2 weeks till I am back to a bulking diet (Mr. X style). I have not squatted or deadlifted in over a year because I herniated a disc a while back and was afraid to. I am going back to both of them however. Now, my question is...If I will be using d-bol in a couple of months for my next cycle, how can I avoid the terrible back pumps that really tend to put me in pain? A weight belt maybe? or do I gotta just bite the bullet? Thanks.

I don't know, when I'm on dbol, I can't even bend down and touch my feet after 1 work set of DL's. I don't know if a belt would help or not.

i get the back pumps too. after a few sets of squats it's hard to get down the stairs... even hurts to drive home. i wish i could find something to ease the pain.

I usually just massauge the area for a minute or two after each set to disapate the blood a little, but other than that there's not really much you can do to get rid of those painfull lower-back pumps. I guess it's also comforting to know that, even though it hurts, your body is also helping your muscle to grow by pumping more blood to that area. So the the pain is not in veign.

what kind of back pump is that from dbol??...it is something like a damage in the bones?...or it is just a muscular pain?.

Dbol tends to produce the worst lower back pumps, but other AS's do it too. All it is, is excess blood pumping (hence "pumps") to the area, thus causing decreased mobility and extreme tightness and pressure.
