Cut/bulk cycles vs. Steady Routine

If your goal is to lose a lot of body fat and increase strength (but not size), is it better to have a steady routine (ie: cardio, lifting, clean diet) or to do bulk/cut cycles? And if you cycle, how long?

i seriously doubt you'll be able to get stronger and leaner naturally, unless you're a beginner. You're stronger when you're bigger and you have enough calories and nutrients you need for energy and recovery. What you want to do is get cut, and yes it's better to stick to it if that's your goal. You will however need to modify your diet w/ time and your routine w/ time and cardio as well because your body adapts to all these things and will stop fat burning. So you will need to change things around at times to keep your body guessing and keep it burning.
