chest 2x a week

lately i been hitting chest twice a week, tuesdays a full-blown 45 min chest workout, and saturday just 3 sets of machine chest press along with triceps... how many times you guys do chest a week? i was moving up pretty well for a while but im stagnant now, but doing it only once a week seems to make me a little weaker than by adding in that real short day at the end of the week and maintaining.
 
Heavy and hard and light 4 days later just for a pump.If your going heavy enough the first time your shit will have just finished healing on the 4th day..

so even if it aint sore its still healing? it was still sore the day before when i did back.
 
i do chest 2x a week. first day i focus on incline bench and then flat db press and dips..

2nd day is flat bench and incline dbs or flies and pullovers.

i usually do a 5x5 for the bench press exercises and 2x10 on the others. it's been working well, put on a ton of mass and strength and soreness goes away after a day

I cant qoute that for sure on how long you will take to heal..I know you will feel it when you rip slow twich muscles for a few days mine usally takes 3 days to rid the sore and i wait a extra day before i do lite reps..I am bulking so i usally just rip the muscle as much as i can and give it time to grow back.
This seems to build more solid slabs of muscle for me,you dont keep the pump look but you grow and it shows after awhile..Best bet is to go with how your body feels you will tell if its time to work them again or not. This is what i do everyones different...gl
 
The combination of v12 turbo and chest 2x a week gave me great results last spring. I've since stopped v12 and chest is down to once a week. I actually feel like I'm losing more than gaining. I need to get back on v12.

but blut, what kind of rep schemes r u using?
I'm currently running the Korte 3x3 so 6-8 sets of 6 reps MWF varying between Narrow, Shoulder-Width and Wide hand positions from set to set. Intensity increasing from week to week based as a percentage of my goal 1RM.
 
i bench 3 times a week, so I guess i train chest 3 times a week. volume is only 2-3 sets for each on of those workouts though.
