Around 20 or 30 assisted I don't remember I repped out a lot more after he finshed filming me. I wish I had a better tan I did it to check out my back muscle think it is coming along nicely.
 
I could see the guy filiming it in the mirror. You like those machines? If your lats are your weak point I would do Lat pulldowns with those.
 
Its lookin' good from what I can see. I find though, when I look straight up duing the entire exercise, it helps to keep my back straight.

:lmao: I know I was like dude can you zoom in on my upper back yeah sure no problem. LOL That is what you get for getting a tested up dude to film you well working out. Thanks Tweakle for your camera skillz :p

Haven't tried in a while I could before like 2 LOL Maybe I will try tonight. Chins and heavy pulldowns are the core of my back workout also do either t-bar rows or DB bent rows trying to bring up the lats.

Check my back progress keep my focused and motivated :) Normally I only film PR's but dieting there are not really any PR's so it is more just for personal motivation.

I'm telling you girl, cable pullovers helped my back so much.

You know what a barbell pullover is? Well do that movement on a cable column.

Basically take a straight bar and put it above your head on a cable column. Set the weight at reasonably low weight. Now, take the bar, put your hands on it about shoulder width. Pulldown without bending your elbows. Bend your knees.

Movement should look like that with a barbell attachment on the cable. Put enough weight on so they are challenging. They made my outer back sore for several times.

I know what it is alway thought it was for your chest but I will give it a go tonight :)

Well, they are for your chest if you do them with a narrow grip on a dumbell lying down. But if you do them standing up, with a wider grip, they hit your Lats. Good luck.

I tried it didn't feel it. I do anther exercise that is my finsher really streches out the lats hard to explain but it is done with cable one arm at a time maybe I will film it sometime. LOL

That machine is great to pump some assisted pull ups out when you're already tired and at the end of your workout...I love it....

By the way, thanks for showing, didn't know about the putfile website so you can upload video's, it's handy.
 
Next time ask your friend to film your upper back only and tell us that you did your chins unassisted

Hahaa the gym is sooooooooooo :rainbow: With the exception of my lovely friend filming there is pretty much never dudes over 200lbs there :( Tons of stars hit that gym when there in Toronto as it is down the street from the 4 seasons.

I do something similar. I stand facing a high pulley, like for triceps press, with the starting position about 18" higher than my shoulders. Then using a straight bar on the cable. I take a step back & bend over to about 20 deg. .
Keeping my elbows slightly bent (unlocked) I arc my arms down to below waist level.
For me, it hits tri's, abs, & lats. I use it to complement Tri & Lat work.
Maybe it only works for me 'cuz I'm not really that strong.

i do those as a finishing excercise
