That is was pretty good. WIll Smith was not huge, but clearly was in shape of the movie, and looked like he hit the weights for this one.

The plot was well written, and not easy to just see through like many of the mysteries in movies, and the special effects were good. I give it two thumbs up.

Everyone with me enjoyed it also.

I give the Will Smith in the shower scene 2 thumbs up :)

the movie was kinda dumb & the machines were a total ripoff of the Terminator machines... & no love scene w/Smith & Moynahan??? c'mon!! the movie really needed that... its sorta implied but never played out.

looked gay as AIDS

Well, since AIDS is primarily a heterosexual disease now... I guess that means it was hardly gay at all?

I'd like to know how closely the scripts stuck to the original Isaac Asimov book???

i wanna see it!!! I love Will Smith movies

its a MEH. we've all heard the "machines are human too" story line many times before. action scenes were meh as well. i really, really loved king arthur, but not this one. the best scene in the movie was will smith's shower scene.... i mean -.-

A Cinderella story was a good weekend flick also, but hilary duff doesn't pull off the ugly nerd/unpopular character too well obviously.

I liked it. It was a good summer movie....plot twists, action, escape from reality. And now I'm suspicious of my various household appliances and what their intentions really are....

Actually, that was a reason I liked the movie. They didn't try to shoe-horn a romance onto it.

Same here.

Figures women don't like action/sci-fi/thinking movies like this one, but they want to add in shitty love scenes that would make no sense to make it "better", when we all know THAT'S what would make things more shitty.

It's the whole black vs. white thing. In certain markets in the U.S. people won't go to see the movie if there is a love scene between a black guy and a white girl.

The best was at the end when Tom Hanks rolled up into the park with his dog and Meg just about crapped herself when she finally realized it was her business rival the whole time. Ho man.

I liked the book, so I'm not going to pay to see the story trashed. And the robots look dumb, so there.

FWIW, the story was not so much trashed as "completely ignored."

Chap had a script called Hardwired, but someone at the studio noticed they had the rights to I. Robot and decided that they were using so much of the "Three Laws" storyline they had to use the name -- it would be all but impossible to use it on yet another robot movie.

I don't get out to 'Large Noisy Objects Defying the Laws of Physics" movies much these days myself, but heard on the radio that it beat Spider-Man 2 at the box office. Sounds like they did something right.

LMAO!! Hmm I haven't seen it but I didn't think it'd be too good... I mean aliens, robots...what's the difference?! LOL ;) Guess I'll check it out! :qt:

Hold me.

Finally made the time to see it. Well made movie.

"Did you just shoot at me with your eyes closed?!"

that movie looked pretty cool except for the fact that will smith starred in it. something about that guy makes me sick. his loudmouth wife gets on my nerves too. anyone hear howard stern playing clips of jada smith plugging her new record? she is unbelievable.

i saw "open water" tonight. slow but not bad.

Are you sure about this? Where are your stats. I just can't believe this.

there was talk of this but it has since been reconfirmed it's still mostly gays and blacks, but they could obviously flip flop stats back and forth again if they wanted.

loved the movie! if it wasn't like the book, what was the book about?
