Cardio !! with out losing muscle !!

i think it's best ot drink a post workout shake with dextrose and wheyprotein right after training, to prevent catabolism and encourage anabolism, especially if you are trying to gain muscle and not cutting. it's about the same, doing it in the morning or after lifting, either way blood glucose is low to encourage fatburing.
 
i did the slower cardio for longer periods... seriously i felt like i was wasting my time. Better results came w/ a more or less modified version of HIIT cardio. Instead of running by the clock i gave myself enough time to recoop and catch my breath.. so in essence i was doing a little bit of both kinds of cardio.
