There are hundreds of herbs and plant extract that are commercially available yet virtually untested.
And unlike compounds like insulin or T3 which have a known potential for serious side effects, Carao happens to be something that has been used by children for years with no ill effects.
I'm not saying Carao is or isn't safe, Im saying that theres no evidence of its effectiveness, and its just plain risky to consume something that some guy bottles in Costa Rica. But thats just one man's opinion
Is there POSSIBLY a risk? Absolutely. But bodybuilers are an adventurous breed.
Hey, if you want to consume weird concoctions from some third world country in the name of adventure, be my guest. But I just dont think thats very smart at all.
Somebody has to be a pioneer. And this group of bros fit the bill.
Well, Im definitely getting that impression, unfortunately
Hell, back in the late 80's guys were swallowing desicated bull testicles in the hope that it might help grow muscle. In the 60's it was raw eggs.
That is definitely NOT a testimonial to effective training and nutrition methods. I dont recall anyone I knew eating bull testicles in the eighties, or any other decade for that matter.
I'd rather trust a farmer in Costa Rico than a supplement manufacturer any day.
Im sorry, I have to disagree. You can go ahead and trust some random Costa Rican farmer over Twinlab, Isopure, or even muscletech, but I know who has better quality control of their product.
And by the way...so far, results look good. But I'll keep a dose of scepticism on hand until all the reports are in.
