i think over head pressing definately helps raw bench alot, but you can get by without them. ted arcidi based his bench strength on super heavy shoulder pressing and tricep work. he said as his overhead pressing went up so did his bench. if your a geared lifter than its a whole different ball game. your main focus will be tricep strength, when you train for raw you have to have high emphasis on shoulders,chest,and triceps.
