Can You Build Muscle On A Low Calorie Diet?

This thread is out of control and serves no valid purpose. Notice that even with over 30 posts, not one has been directed at answering the question of it is necessary to consume such excessive calories to gain mass.
 
Well, i think someone did answer the original question- the answer is "no" for blacks in the can, and "yes" for the rest of us genetic wannabees out living free... ;)
 
Inmates can easily get gear from visitation or dirty guards just like any other drug. You can also get strong as hell by improvising your exercise; you don't need a lifetime gold membership at the local high society family fitness center.

Lift some law library books wrapped in a laundry bag and you will see what I mean. LOL.

You have to remember though, all they have to do physically is workout and eat. Even if it's only 2000 calories per day after 15-20 years they can probably put on some muscle.
 
Its expenditure, if all you do is lift and sit in ur cell... you don't need a shitload of calories to get bigger; furthermore, your RMR will adapt to the intake so its all relative.

just read a few posts, not really any answers (maybe farther down but i didn't want to read anymore) you can build muscle on calorie reduced diets if you keep your protien stupid, stupid high.... @135lbs, i take in around 270-280 grams of protien a day. very low carbs, moderate fats (no animal fats). i build muscle, the first couple if bb shows i dieted for, i put a bit of weight on but gained a shit load of muscle. just keep your protien high and your carbs for after your workout, hope that helps:)

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! this is why i want this homo off my ass. he ruins my threads, and most threads i comment on with his stupid shit. please report him to a mod, like i do. or give him negative karma so he knows he is a dipshit. check any thread we argued on and you will see he started it. also, thanks to everyone who gave him negative karma. ;) and thanks to canuck for the avatar pic, but it needs to be bigger so you can see my shiny chrome rim. lol.
 
Although they may only feed inmates 1200 - 1500 cals a day, many of them get eat lots of extra protein in the form of <cough> semen.

...if you've got the genetics, that is.
