Today tried a calf injection, at about 2pm I shot 1cc of test prop, in my calf. As of right now i can barely put pressure on it. Is there anything i can do to ease the pain, even painful to touch at this point

oil bolus and/or injection trauma near or pressing/irritating nerve..

heat may help as well as light massage...

calf injection are NEVER a good idea.. it is very easy to cause nerve damage and necrosis of that tissue is also much more likely..

thanks for the quick reply, the dam thing still hurts like hell. I just 600mg of advil hopefully that will help a bit!

You ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait until you try to sleep tonight, you will NEVER get comfortable.

Calf injects tend to make people very sore. Lots of nerves down there.

I'll try to be encouraging ;-)
Prop tends to hurt anyway. It's true there are lots of nerves in the area. Ice, rather than heat MAY be good if a nerve is being compressed (decrease the swelling).
The thing to watch out for in the calf is a compartment syndrome. If there's generalized swelling, and numbness or tingling in the leg or foot, see a doc. Swelling in the fascial compartments can cut off blood supply and compress nerves. And stay away from the calves, bro!

if your taking orals ease up on the advil. hope all gets better.

I was stupid to do one calf injection, let alone trying it a second time. Never again. My calf was swollen, red, tight. I thought I really screwed myself. But thanks to some antibiotics and Advil it went away. No more calf injections for me.

If you look at it this way, it's no different than doing a forearm injection, and would you do a forearm injection??? Me either :D
