Bruise from injecting to deeply gave me a dent in my muscle belly

Has anyone else had this happen? I injected to deeply or something I think and now I have an indentation on my muslce belly in my quad. I got a real bad bruise their first and now that it is gone their is a dent. It sucks, I think its permanent.

what size pin are you using?..a needle is to damn thin to leave a indentation i would think.

I would tend to agree. The bruise is from hitting a vein either on the way in or while pulling the pin out. I have no idea what the indentation would be from.

no it didn't leave an indentation. It caused a humungous bruise that ate my muscle tissue up at the injection site. I usually use 25 gauge but all the pharmacy had were 20 gauges (you can get needles without a prescription from the pharamcy in my state). So stupid me thinks oh whatthe hell I can use those size just this once.

how big is your indentation...and does your muscle feel like it was indented too

It's pretty large, it's very noticeable when I flex my quad (which sucks bc I compete). My elbow rests in the dent pretty nicely.
