Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routine

Re: Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routin

I like cable fly. Good solid heavy cable fly's Arm's shaking you can really focus on contracting your pec. I get stupid pumps from those.

On incline I am a big fan of Barbell incline Wide grip presses. Some reason those big bars add beef and the wide grip nicely balances out the pec

This is the exact ab routine I did yesterday:eek2:

I did this routine just before bed last night. It gets me nice and relaxed after my casein and flax. I don't have a partner to punch me so i usually just superman it down a flight of stairs so each step gets in a good hit to the torso. At the bottom i go immediately into a handstand and walk back up the stairs on my hands (good cooldown for the shoulders and traps). 20 or 30 reps of this is about the norm.

LOL

There is nothing typical of that routine or that guy!!! Did you watch any of his other videos?? His leg routine is sick.

I can do full hanging lef raises but all that other stuff is ridiculous.

The backflips on the bar are typical exercises we used to do in muay tai. so is the punching on the stomach and the weighted situps.

Yep in foot ball we would use get in a bench press position across the benches in our gym and kick each other in the stomach. It's actually really fairly easy to take a real heavy punch or a board/bat in the stomach if your muscles are hardened and you know what to expect. I will say the leg excersize he is doing is fairly impressive. He NO DOUBT trains his abs to absurdity. He should spend that much time on his shin bones. He has a great build for a fighter though.

PS I saw where someone mentioned something in DC stretches your shoulders out and makes them wider? My chest is jus over 52 inches around relaxed and I need or want to spread my shoulders out to emphasize the V

check out a vid that one breath posted in his DC journal thread...it is a "rediculous" shoulder stretch :D

Re: Bodybuilding Routines: Post Your Bodybuilding Training For Help With A New Routin

I have started doing a bit more forearm exercise, grip is a problem and I have been going for lower reps. Grip is definately getting better and the underbelly of the forearm has grown loads. Although from the front my forearms look rediculously skinny but from the side look thick which looks pretty stupid IMO. Is their any exercises which will make the forearm wider and look bigger from front views?

Hammer curls and let the weight hang from your finger tips say a 70 80 lb dumbell. Roll it up and let it back down. Till it hurts so bad you don't think your setting up for "the stranger" for those of you who know it :D

lats, heavy bent over rows, wide grip chins (add weight for fun).
THEN...throw a couple 45 lb. plates on a weight belt and hang from a bar (wide grip) for as long as you can, trying to work up to 2 minutes. When you get to 2 minutes, add more weight. You should feel a painful stretch in your lats if you're doing it right. Position yourself so that you feel this lat stretch. You'll need to use wraps.

traps, deadlift!!! Go heavy or go home.
