Blood Work BAD

Did blood work on 12/9/2011 and the results were:
Testosterone (ng/dl) is at 200
Testosterone (free) is not measured
FSH not measured
LH not measured
Prolactin not measured

doc put me on one 200mg test cyp/month x 3 months


three weeks after last shot i got tested again. received results today:


Testosterone (ng/dl) is at 80, i feel great...shiiit

FSH is at 0.7
LH is at 0.1
Prolactin is at 6.1.

So yeah looks like those three shots of test fucked me up, anyhow MRI showed no tumor on pituitary. Next i go c an ENDO.

I believe that the test caused my levels to drop, i have not chenged my diet, training or sleep routine.

What do u guys think?

The dr didn't know what the hell he was doing and your now worse than before. Not to mention the other levels that you didn't have from prelim test are important as to compare to post.

Get a better dr (endocrinologist)

And 200 a MONTH. YOur levels would be too high for a week and then too low for the last two weeks. Again. You doctor is a moron.

Depending on your age, you might be best just getting a script from him and dosing correctly.

what did u run prior and what was your PCT and when?

you did not give enough information ..

all that happened was you went on test at a very low dose which isn't enough to replace your natural test and you are now shutdown hard. your LH is at 0. instead of trying to jumpstart things you are shut yourself down.

not to mention the cyp has a 2 week half life, meaning after 2 weeks the ester will taper away. so dosing once a month for 3 months won't do shit except make the problem worse..

this doctor should be put in jail for doing this to you.. send him the link to this thread and let him read what i wrote and if he has the balls he can PM me and let me teach him how testosterone works

the patient must ask questions and do their own research or they risk getting incorrectly diagnosed and treated. whenever i see doctors i always question their diagnosis and treatment and they don't like that at all.. but i've found when you keep pushing them they eventually give in and give you what you want..

the OP should have asked more questions here and his research before going in. you can't just depend on doctors to give you what you need, atleast not in today's time. most docs have the brains of rats, the idiot sons of doctors or people in it for the almight dollar. very few docs got into medicine cause they actually like it or want to help people. trust me i play poker with a group of docs, they absolutely hate their jobs.

Steve I think you misread, it was one shot a month and they did that for 3 months for a total of 3 shots. However, it doesn't change the fact that what he did was completely wrong and made the situation worse.

Btw Steve or nelson, I am going for blood work on Tuesday can either none of you please pm me with what I should ask them to look at (I want to get a food look at my hormones and all the other important levels which will influence). Thanks guys.

yeah i know.. the fact that he was dosing cyp once a month was crazy enough, but the fact that the doc put him on it for 3 months and then thats it makes it even crazier. he is right back to where he started and actually worse now.

Should be legal to shoot people like that lol or at least make them do what they did to you so they can actually learn from their stupid mistakes, perhaps then thy will be more interested in how to not shut someone down and actually do things right.

^^^ 2 reasons to go to a doc.. you need something cut out of you, or you have an emergency like a broken bone or something that needs urgent care.

with online pharmacies if i ever need a drug i go online and get it myself.. if i need bloods i order them myself. if i need some other treatment i go to a acupuncturist, massage therapist, or chiropractor.

eat right, don't smoke, don't drink, exercise and you will be golden.

I went to a UROlogist to check sperm count, which came back on the low side of course. he sent me to an endo. Waiting for appt.

I am 28, kinda young for TRT. I do not wanna make an appointment with him because he will just prolly sent me to an endo, which I am about to c as soon as my urologist sets the appt.

Good point. My last cycle was in 2011,i used supertest 450, 1 cc a week for10 weeks, i did do pct, i do not recall the length though, i think i did nolva and clomid for 4 weeks, and i used hcg my last 4 weeks in the cycle, i wanted to do it during all the cycle length but shit was missing in my order. Yea the doctor that saw me said that my test was low and that would fix me, ok so I told him: The key here was that I did not wanted to tell him lots of stuff about test, I wanted that script . I knew that was going to shut me down, i did ask him that, and he said oh no u will be fine , or smth like that. Anyway, i went saw a Urologist for other reasons, and he said: So you had low test and he put you on one cc a month? He should have done every two weeks. Anyway, after getting the results from the second blood test he refered me to an Endo. Also, my pituitary had no tumors or anything. Now my questions when I c the endo? Pm if you can. I can tell you though that i been feeling terrible for the past 7 months, They have done all kinds of test and only found low test. I definitely need to be on test, because my concentration is terrible, i saw improvments when i was doing my famous once a month shot, but only for a few days, then back to feeling terrible.

In conclusion, I want the endo to prescribe me test, but do it the right way.

^^^ was your test levels low before you ever juiced?

i don't believe that you ran 1 cycle and ruined your HPTA for life, i think it would be foolish to go on HRT at your age.. but hey thats your decision. just remember if you keep taking test you will continue suppressing yourself. be smart about it

That was my last cycle. I have done a few cycles since 2006. Always ran pct, but this last time i knew i did not recover because i felt really tired all the time, and no desire to do anything, i go work out and no pumps, i do not even wanna lift a 5 lb dumbell. So i have done a few cycles(at least 6) i do not run them longer then 12 weeks, but i usually ran them 10 weeks.Always took more time off than on. I have no idea if I had low test before, I started lifting. I stoped taking the test about 4 weeks ago now. Will c what the Endo will do.
