Black vs. White physique

I agree most black guys have good physiques and there are exceptions for everyone. I use it as motivation. I am one of those white guys who have the body of a black guy, except my dick is only 6.75in. But I have to bust my ass in the gym to look the way I do. To all you guys with bad ass bodies and don't do shit, you are lucky bastards. this has been an interesting topic and I'm glad no dumb fuck racist white boy posted any stupid shit.
 
you guys are all talking out of your asses. first off, evolution takes millions of years. and the main reason that blacks can run faster and jump higher is not because of there physiques, because if that were the case, there would be some white guys (white guys can have excellent physiques, not as commonly, but they can...ie me) in the 100 m dash in the olympics, but there never is. if you've ever actually read about studies on african physiology, it has shown that blacks have, on average, more collagen in there tendons. therefore, whenever they run, jump etc, more energy is conserved in elasticity, and can be put back into the next jump, or step. why do blacks excell in long distance (kenyans etc): same reason, but there is also another advantage of the african physique, they are thinner. due to millions of years in subsaharan africa, blacks have developed superior heat regulatory systems. firstly, they have longer appendages (look at most black guys, they are taller, have smaller wastes, thinner longer fingers, longer feet, and toes, thinner ankles, etc.), this enables them to radiate heat faster (surface area/volume ratio is much higher). and heat loss is the primary concern of any long distance athlete. (studies have shown that when equivalent masses of rats and humans are compared, the rats can produce 9 times the power of the human-this is due to heat loss, their surface area of all the rats combined is much much higher than that of the human with the equivalent mass to all the rats). also the black skin helps, black is the most emissive color when it comes to radiation, yet another reason why they can keep cooler. also, studies have shown in biopsies of blacks that they have more blood perfusion per muscle fiber (more capillaries/muscle fiber), which enables them to transport more oxygen to the muscle under aerobic conditions, effectively allowing them to produce more energy with out lactic acid breakdown. as far as being bigger, that is a fallacy. they have lower body fats so that there is less insulation = more heat loss). as you can see, almost all of the traits that blacks have the make them superior in most sports are derived from heat regulatory systems. i could write more, but the gym is calling me. later

Wow, I haven't seen a thread this full of old wive's tales and misinformation in a while!

The "selective breeding" theory may have some truth in it, but notice at the Olympics African athletes (not just African Americans) excel in a wide variety of sports. There are, generally speaking, racial differences in muscle fiber make-up which account for the dominance of certain races in certain sports. East Africans, for example, with their high waists, long legs, and plentiful slow-twitch fibers dominate long distance running.

The descendants of most black Americans, however, came from West Africa, where different body types predominate -- this is why the USA doesn't kick ass in long distance running.

The biggest noticeable difference between blacks and whites is the absence in blacks of the subcutaneous fat layer that evolution provided whites (and Asians) to keep them warm in those long northern winters. This accounts for the "six pack" abs you see on black guys who don't even work out. Almost every white boy grows up in the U.S. amazed by the lean muscularity of his black schoolmates, and wondering what to do to look like that. But it isn't that they're more muscular, really. They're just naturally leaner.

That fat layer is especially persistant in Asians -- which is why so few Asians succeed in bodybuilding contests. Whites, having the fat layer as well, have a harder time cutting up than blacks.

Just so you non-black guys won't feel TOO bad, it's worth adding that even black athletes have genetic disadvantages in certain sports, which is easily seen by noticing sports that are NOT dominated by blacks, powerlifting for example.

But ever since the bodybuilding world decided that RIPPED TO THE BONE was the look to strive for, blacks have had a major advantage in contests.

I've heard the major magazine publishers have actually had meetings to figure out how to avoid bodybuilding becoming a sport that looks like it's for BLACKS ONLY. The mags keep an eye out for the next "great white hope" because they don't want white kids to get discouraged looking through the mags and seeing only black guys.
 
More consolation for white folks

I thought of another sport where whites have a bodytype advantage -- swimming. In the water that pesky little fat layer helps white swimmers float a little higher in the water, so they can go faster.

Some studies indicate that whites tend to build UPPER body strength more easily than blacks, and of course swimming is all about the upper body.

So blacks may have tons of athletic advantages, but not all of them. In the Olympics, you'll notice black swimming champions are about as common as white basketball stars.

It's nice that God didn't give ALL ther advantages to one group alone. :D

I keep posting since this topic is especially interesting to me.

I was wrong about Africans tending to have more slow-twitch muscle fibers -- they have more fast-twitch ones.

Well this topic is certainly interesting. I am European but live in the US. And one thing i usually find interesting that when traveling back home is difference i see between the average Caucisian person there and here. Simply put, there is a lot more white guys there with excellent genetics. Don't ask me why. Some of the gyms i have visited in Poland yielded some freaks, just about all the guys there could bench 300-400lbs. With one 20 year old kid standing 6'5 benching 540lbs. after only light test cycles. Same with my family, most men are naturally pretty muscular and find it pretty easy to build 20 inch arms with light low doses of juice. i posted before that i easily reached 280 with just 500mg of sust per week. Same goes for my Russian training partner, he looked so big after working out for 2 years EVERYONE accused him of juicing. He was ripped but never as shredded as most brothers, and frankly neither am i. But we all respect one another, the brothers in my gym say i am not white but Polish. Pretty funny really, they admire me for my 405 deadlift for 20 reps and admire them for their full muscle bellies and all is great. They truly are the coolest training partners. Also you will notice that the great majority of white bodybuilders are from Europe or countries other than the US. Especially the freaks. The reason? Well different regions of the planet spawned different adaptations in humans. These adaptations today, when applied to certain sports will make some excel and others fail.
