best postworkout protein powder

Re: Generally Nasty Center (GNC)

GNC has a similar product in their recent line of protein powders. I'm not sure of the carbs, but the other stuff is virtually the same. There's only 14 servings, I think, per bottle and it's BOGO, buy one get one half price. And I've always said it's 20% of on Gold Card days, and 30% off if you're boning one of the girls who works there.

It's called Distance.

But it doesn't use hydrolyzed whey, which is Surge's raison d'etre. Also it has 100g carbs and only 14g protein. It's more aimed at endurance athletes and is a knock-off of Endurox.

I see

Alright, I have to be more careful. Most of the bros I know are emotional types--but occasionally, I run into the real precise, scientific type and it reminds me to be really clear on what I'm saying.

When I said GNC had a similar product, I was referring to what I considered the essential ingredients: whey, bcaa and glutamine. In that case, it is similar. I figured Dextrose can be added from anywhere....such as pixie sticks even. The fact that it isn't hydrolized doesn't concern me because tomorrow will bring a new discovery that 'hydrolized' is no longer the best, but twice-baked, micronized, sawdust-rubbed, camel-stomped protein will be.

So I hope we're on the same page now. Pour a few pixie sticks into your Mega Whey shake and, hydrolized or not, we're doin ok. ;)

Go to the protein factory and check out the "recovery formula". A much better price formula of Biotests Surge. I'd love to use Surge but the price is ridiculous!!
