What do you people recommend?

I stick to LI bars so I'd be like a lost puppy trying to find a good one. I'd end up in some preppy area ordering frappucinos.

And what the hell is a frappucino and why does everyone in NYC have to drink them? It's a half empty cup of coffee with some frothy crap on top that costs $6 for fucks sake!

Best dive bar--Bar 81-- 7th Street off of 1st Ave.

I'm obviously partial to East Village nightlife.
