I'm looking to do a linear progression program. I'm currently 82 kg and I want to stay around that number. I'm curious about what kind of repetition range and what method you guys would recommend for me
I'm 22 years old
one of the things that a trainer recommended was to focus on Lower rep ranges maybe doing a 3x5 type of training. do you think this would be a good start for me? and then I could increase the weight by 5 kg every couple weeks

well with weight training you want to build consistency at a lower weight. it isn't always going to be 5kg every couple weeks. you might not improve and level out for a bit and then improve. or you might take a step back. you don't improve in a linear fashion unless you are extremely under developed

higher reps more volume get your muscles really used to high volume first
